The Office Manager coordinates all legal support activities
including supervision of staff, financial management, time keeping,
and billing. She also coordinates and monitors all Workers'
Compensation case management and scheduling of depositions and
hearings. These vital services provide support for the attorneys and
ensure maximum time for their client caseload. |

Yvonne White
Secretary/Receptionist
The Secretary/Receptionist is responsible for greeting customers who
visit the Closson, Bass, and Tomberlin Law Office and for making
them feel comfortable in their wait for services. This is also the
first staff member the customer hears when they call our firm. She
reviews the initial information on the client and opens a case file
when the circumstances warrant assistance. She handles all office
procedures for the front office. At the conclusion of a case, the
Secretary/Receptionist closes the file and concludes all the final
paperwork. This position offers support to other staff members,
freeing their time for other duties. |

Brenda Morrison
Social Security
Specialist
Handle Social Security files, prepare Social Security files for
hearing, place Social Security files in order, order medical
records, prepare necessary forms for appealing Social Security
denials, meet with clients, take monthly updates from Social
Security clients, speaking with the judge's office for updates on
pending claims for Social Security, scheduling social Security
hearings, occasional scheduling appointments and answering the
telephone, typing correspondence to be mailed out, and keep forms
current on the computer. |

John Porter
Investigator
John joined the firm in 1998 after working investigating years for
another firm. He is responsible for interviewing all criminal
clients and contacting all witnesses in criminal cases. After
following leads derived from these interviews, he conducts follow-up
interviews to glean final information for the case. He photographs
crime scenes and evidentiary material, serves subpoenas in civil and
criminal cases, and files criminal and civil documents with the
appropriate courts. John states, "I will always greet you with a
smile and make sure I have done all that I can possibly do for you
and your case." |
