Who is covered under Workers’ Compensation in Georgia?

With a few exceptions, any employee who is injured on the job is entitled to receive Workers’ Compensation benefits. In Georgia, there are a few industries where Workers’ Compensation coverage IS NOT mandatory, but even in those industries, employers can “opt-in” and purchase workers’ compensation coverage.
